The transmission of History relies on the involvement of youth, which is why a drawing contest focusing on the theme of the 80th anniversary of the D-Day and the liberation of Europe was one of the major initiatives of 2023 led by the County Council of La Manche.

The contest:

- 6 categories: under 10 years old, 11 to 14, 15 to 18 (individual or collective participation)

Requirements:
- Promote the values of freedom, peace, memory, and fighting against discrimination
- Establish a connection with the 80th anniversary of the D-Day
- Participation: 120 drawings produced across the territory of La Manche
