To finish this school year in style we decided to offer you this original movie which won the “Cesar “ for the best film as well as four other in 2014.

Guillaume Gallienne is a member of the most prestigious group of actors in France, L’académie Française and after the triumph made to his eponymous play based on his youth and personal experience, he was logically offered to adapt it for the cinema. He even took the chance he had to direct it himself, making this his first film (which makes sense this story being so personal and intimate).

He wrote the screenplay, directed and acted in it. He plays himself but also his mother and this total investment pays off and compensate for his lack of experience as a director. Expect a peculiar and daring movie on sexual identity and social conventions, full of laughter but also of bitterness and pain. Do not worry too much as if his play was quite intense, the translation to film has softened for the greater number and you will have a great time full of laughter, originality, ambition and intimacy which is a rare combination.

As usual be there for 5.45 to enjoy the pain, fromage, saucisson, olives et vin. Think of reserving your seat by calling 875655 or email on [email protected]
